This 1 hour course will demonstrate how an Energy Audit to identify water and energy usage within an operating facility has led to significant utility savings while meeting credit requirements in LEED V4. Facility Managers, Property Managers, Architects and others responsible for designing and operating commercial facilities should attend. Topics will include the new metering requirements of LEED V4, real-time water monitoring, energy monitoring, implementing a facility plan for sustainability and measuring outcomes of projects.

William Broome has been the Director of Facilities for The Westminster Schools in Atlanta since 2005 and has been a facility manager for 27 years. He has an AA degree in Business Administration from Clayton State University, and a BA degree in Management from Georgia State University. William attained his CFM in 1999, his LEED Green Associate in 2010, and his SFP in 2011.

Brandi Williams is an Assistant Professor in the Construction Management Department at Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU). She has a BS and an MS in Construction Management from SPSU and a MEd from the University of Georgia. Professor Williams teaches courses in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems, Sustainability and Facility Management.
